Hi,

When trying to sync the calendar in Astrasync, I recieve the following error in the debug log:

ERROR: - java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot add null value to Hashtable

The error occurs consistently on item 13 of 127. I have tried purging the calendar data on the device. Diagnostics are enabled on the device, as well.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Robert

Hi,

I'm getting the same error. The device syncs Email and Contacts, and then crashes with the calendar with the same error as reported by robert13 above. This has been happening since yesterday. The crash happens at item 7, but the calendar total is 146 and climbing each day, so this needs to be fixed. Blackberry Curve 8330 on Verizon running AstraSync 2.2.10.

We have a new build of AstraSync V2.2.12 which has a number of fixes for NullPointerException and IllegalArgumentException related errors.

This release also has better error handling if such errors continue to occur. Instead of halting the sync process, an error will be logged in the AstraSync Debug Log and sync Process will continue.

This version is available from www.astraysnc.com/dwl. Please point your BlackBerry browser to this location and download V2.2.12

We expect this build to resolve a number of faults however there is still the chance that there are other bugs that may cause these exceptions. In this instance they will be logged and the problem event or contact will not be synced. If this happens please let us know immediately so that we can investigate before the debug log is overwritten with new entries.
