What am I doing wrong? I just noticed that with 4.0.17 that the notes of appointments don't copy. Made it VERY difficult to log into my conference call when the information isn't synced with my BB. Shame on you

Hello tsm,

What server are you syncing against, Exchange 2003, 2007?
What OS are you running on your Storm?

Ranald.

Hello tsm,

I am been unable to reproduce this problem.

To further investigate this issue, we will have to capture the data being sent between your device and the server.

I will have AstraSync Support contact you by email to arrange a suitable time to collect this data.

Thank you,

Ranald.

I would appreciate that. I've tried syncing with various options trying to get notes to sync, and no luck. There are no other ICAL service books on the device either. Look forward to your email.

I am having the same issue, the notes area of appoinments do not sync.

As a test , I created a note on by BB (8820) all day event with the note "test". After a sync the note was correctly sent to exchange (2007). Then in Outlook (2007) I changed the note area to "test one two three" and added another appointment on the same day with "test 2" in its note area. Did another sync and on the BB the first appointment had a blank note area and the 2nd appointment was synced with the BB but its note area was also blank.

Hello jagp, CDH-JasonC,

With the data received from tsm, this was diagnosed as a bug in 4.0.17 and has been resolved in a subsequent hotfix.

However, I neglected to update this post. Please accept my apologies for this oversight.

Please upgrade to the latest version of AstraSync and this issue will be resolved.

Thank you,

Ranald.
