contacts not ion sync with server Options

Gentlemen,
our user created various new contacts in the BB and it did not synchronize with Exchange.
I turned DIAGNOSTIC SETTINGS on in case you wanna take a look.
f.e. I changed my entry "Stefan Kusch" and it is not sync'd to Exchange. I tried to force a sync, I even shutdown AS and restarted. No change. Please take a look in the log for me.

I noticed that changes in OUTLOOK are sync'd
but changes on BB are not sync'd to the exchange server Brick wall

I notice that in my BB there are 856 entries but my Exchange contacts are 859 !!!!

I can see in the log files that an InvalidCollectionException is being reported. If the user is still able to sync email and calendar correctly then this would indicate an issue with the contacts.

To resolve this I would suggest that you reset the contact collection as described here (http://forum.astrasync.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=1064) and then re-test the sync. Please ensure that you take a backup first as the contacts on the phone will be lost and replaced with those only from the server.

thanks Vicky,
re-syncing the contacts or calender is always my "fast" solution in the company. But since the error is coming up frequently I am concerned.
I asked the user to check the contacts as well. But there are sometimes too many entries to re-create :-/

Please let us know what errors you are now seeing. If you are still having problems with contacts not syncing from the phone to the server please can you get the user to enable diagnostics and recreate this behaviour.

If you can then let us know when you have done this together with their username I can review the logs for you.
