Hi,

smrtguard is a separate BlackBerry application that you may have installed. You can check to see if you have this by going to Options > Advanced Options > Applications on your device.

It is likely that the Gmail calendar may have interfered with your AstraSync calendar. Please try looking at http://forum.astrasync.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=1781

Ensure you first take a backup of your calendars so that you can revert to these if needed.

I have had the error about Calendar Deletions occur...

http://wiki.astrasync.com/%28S%28cgfbmw45qdbwz3nymm5ebe55%29%29/Default.aspx?Page=Large_Calendar_Deletions&AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1

When I try to remove the Calendar from the Sync options, and type "delete" to confirm this, I get the message "An error occureed deleting items: EventList has been deleted".

I have checked, I do not appear to have smartgrd installed.

Thanks for your help.

This is a device bug that either renames or moves the default PIMlist.

Other users have found that disabling the collection in question then rebooting the device has fixed this issue.

Please let us know how you get on.

Hi Vicky,

Many thanks for your reply.

Please excuse my ignorance, but how do I disable the collection?

If you are refering to Calendar synchronisation - I have already tried to do this unsuccessfully...

I go to "Options" -> "Sync settings", untick "Calendar" and push "Save" - I get the prompt "your have changed... delete these items from your device". When I push "Delete Device Items", I am prompted to enter 'delete' to confirm, when I do this is when I get the "Eventlist has been deleted" message.

My device, since first getting this problem, has been rebooted several times.

Please try the steps detailed here as they may help: http://forum.astrasync.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=1837

Please ensure that you take a backup first.

If this fails then my next steps would be to uninstall and then reinstall AstraSync from http://m.astrasync.com
