I have noticed that a few of my emails were not being sent from my phone. When I look into the Outbox folder on the phone they are sitting there with a red x next to them? Any ideas why this would be occuring?

Hello KDPennock,
We have had another customer experience this same issue, however it occurs intermittently for him, so we have been unable to collect diagnostics on this problem. We have also been unable to reproduce this problem.
Expected behaviour is that if the cellular or Wifi connection is unavailable, sent mail will remain pending in the Outbox. These emails will then be sent when the internet connection is restored.
Are you seeing that these emails are failing to send when you have no available internet connection, or is this occuring at a different time?
Are these emails consistently failing to send a particular time, are you able to reproduce this behaviour.
When looking at the messages in the Outbox, are you able to select: re-send? If so does the email then send correctly?
It is possible that these emails are malformed in some way and so are failing to send, if this is the case we will need to examine the messages. If you are able to select re-send, or reproduce the orignal failures we should be able to do this.
Thank you,
Ranald.

I don't believe this is occuring when a connection is unavailable. I had about 5 e-mails that were all sent at different times, days and locations. One I know was sent from my home where I know I always get a good WiFi connection. Another was sent at a time that I know I continued to use the data connection without any issues. I have not sent any emails in the last day so I have not had it happen again. I was able to select Resend on one of them and it was then delivered without a problem. One of the emails was litteraly just the word "test" since I was starting to question emails being sent so I do not believe they would be malformed in anyway.

Finally got an error in the log. Here is what I am getting:
Unexpected exception running MessageTransportState, dropping message. Exception details: cr: Please check URL, server responded '403 Request Forbidden'
What I don't get is why in the same synch will I get emails delivered, calendar and contacts synched but not be able to send anything? I have tried clicking on the "Resend" option and it still will not go.

Any update on this? Other then synching my calendar, not being able to send email kind of makes this app useless for me.
