Items that I add to my Blackberry (either calendar or contact) do not sync to my Outlook Exchange Server.

I've run a Sync Status and the phone doesn't recognize the added contacts or calendar items. The message reads 0 of 0.

This happened before and I deleted the application from my phone then reinstalled. It worked fine for a few days, but the error has since repeated itself. Reinstalling on a weekly basis is not an acceptable fix for me.

For me, being able to add appointments (and contacts) while on the go is much more critical than the other way around. Is this a known issue?

Thanks, Sarah

Hello Sarah,

This is not a known issue.

We will need to gather logging data from your device in order to investigate this further.

Please go to AstraSync Options > Diagnostic Settings - Enable Diagnostics

Add an event to the calendar, then create a contact on your device.

Sync the device, note that the contact and the event don't sync.

Wait a further 5 minutes, then disable Diagnostics.

Please then send an email to support@astrasync.com

Please include:

AstraSync Version
BlackBerry 9700, OS 5.0.330
A link to this post
The name of the event created
The name of the contact created

Thank you,

Ranald.

Hello Sarah,

We had one customer today who had the same error message as you did. We haven't been able to locate the problem that makes this error, but we have found that performing a hard reset (pulling the battery), starting up AstraSync and making sure you answer yes to all prompts will get everything back on track. Please give this a try and let us know if you still receive this error message.
