The following error may be seen when syncing Contacts within AstraSync:

NoClassDefounder
Java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError

Rebooting the device (by removing the battery for a second then reinserting) may help cure the problem for a short time. Generally this particular error occurs when another application is also accessing the Contacts on the BlackBerry (for example, Facebook).

To resolve the issue it is recommended you turn off the Contact integration within the 'other' application. For Facebook this can be done by:

1) Opening the application > Press the menu button > Options > Disable the feature for Contacts and save the changes.
2) Remove the battery for 5 seconds before reinserting (This will cause the device to reboot).
3) When the device boots up, launch AstraSync and say ‘Yes’ to every security prompt.
4) Test the sync again.

Also see Calendar and Contact sync issues after installing Facebook for more information.
