We have a user with a Blackberry Storm that has had continued problems with syncing his contacts. It pops up the invalid key message so we reset the contacts (about 960) and it works for a few days or even 2 or 3 weeks and then develops the problem again. We are running Zimbra v6.0. The Storm is a 9530 with v4.7.0.148. Any suggestions or ideas?

What version of AstraSync is your user running?
Is this the only user with AstraSync or do you have other users, are they experiencing the same problem?

He is on 4.0.16. We have several other employees using the product and a couple of other Storm users and they are not having the problem. I did another contact reset yesterday and so far so good. The employee is traveling today so I wouldn't be able to do any troubleshooting until he gets back. do you have any ideas at this point?

Hello stpowell,
My first suggestion would be to upgrade to the latest version of AstraSync 4.0.27. This version includes many improvements and bug fixes.
As the employee is having trouble with the 4.0.16 build. I would suggest that AstraSync should be removed completely first, followed by a battery pull before downloading and installing the latest version.
This fresh installation will eliminate any residual problems with the 4.0.16 build.
If this still doesn't solve the problem, please let me know and I can get AstraSync Support to investigate further.

 I was having issues with syncing my phone. Kept getting error message "Server reported invalid syn key for collection Contacts. Reset the collection to continue sync" So I downloaded latest version, 4.029, and it is still giving me the same error message. I have confirmed my server config, as nothing has changed.

mvmcadams, What server/version are you connecting to? Try to completely unsync the contacts, AstraSync options > sync settings, uncheck contacts and save. This will remove the contacts from the device not the server. When this is completed reboot the device by removing the battery for 10 seconds. When the device is backup load AstraSync and select to resync the contacts. Were you able to successfully sync the contacts? Regards, John AstraSync Support www.astrasync.com
