To complete a successful OTA (Over the Air) download of AstraSync to your BlackBerry phone you must use the inbuilt BlackBerry browser rather than Opera or any other browser as these do not allow for OTA installations.

In some cases your BlackBerry browser may identify itself Mozilla/4.0 rather than BlackBerry causing an error to appear on the installation.

Follow the steps below to ensure that your BlackBerry browser it set to identify itself correctly.

1. Open your BlackBerry browser, and click the "Options" menu.
2. Open "General Properties"
3. Set "Default Browser" to either "Internet Browser" or "BlackBerry Browser".
4. Save and close.
5. Open "Browser Configuration"
6. At the top, choose the browser you selected in Step 3, either "Internet Browser" or "BlackBerry Browser"
7. Set "Emulation Mode" or "Browser Identification" to "BlackBerry".
8. Save and close
9. Close your browser completely, and try your download again.

If the download continues you fail, you should use BlackBerry Desktop manager to install the program. See the following post for details:
